How Long?

1 Week – (5 days coaching – 6 days lift pass – 7 nights accommodation)

Where?

Hintertux Glacier, Austria

Nestled at the end of the spectacular Tux Valley in the Austrian Tyrol and just a quick 800 metre shuttle ride from the gondola station, our hotel is 4 stars with a pool, saunas, great food and great drink.

The skiing and riding in Hintertux is just as good. Open 365 days a year it is one of the few places guaranteed to have decent snow in early November. In fact most years we’ve experienced excellent mid winter conditions with a variety of good on and off piste options to challenge everyone’s skiing and riding.

Kids Holding you back? No problem they will be more than entertained at the most amazing day care facilities just down the road.

What is It?

A great opportunity to develop your technique while sampling a little Austrian culture.

Five days skiing or boarding with your favorite Section 8 coaches and seven nights to have stimulating conversation with friends both old and new!  This camp is open to any intermediate to expert level skiers or boarders who would like to improve their skills before the winter season starts.

  • Head to the Olympic city of Innsbrook for a day of site seeing or head down the valley to the famous resort town of Mayrhofen for some shopping.
  • Go on a glacier tours through a funky icy cave network.
  • Hang out in the climbing gym and get a different set of muscles working.
  • There’s a pool in the hotel… but if you head just down the valley to the town of Fugen the Aquatic Centre has cool water slides ad a variety of different pools.
  • If heights is your thing go for a climbing adventure on an exhilarating Via Ferrata.
  • Practice your moves on the trampolines at the gymnastics centre.
  • And of course Section 8’s favorite ‘Apres Ski’ pub is right at the base of the gondola.
