How to apply for a snow school job?

The best way to find a job is to just start surfing the net. Select an area of interest and search for resorts in those areas. Most resorts will have a human resources department with it’s own website where you can find all their job postings as well as directions on how to apply for that specific resort. Usually snow schools will want a cover letter and resume as well as a couple references. Be sure to include your CSIA or CASI number as well so they can verify your certification level. If you are looking for a work visa sponsorship in the country you are headed to, you will need to ensure you apply well in advance as snow schools need to complete their hiring and apply for visas in the late spring or early summer for the following season. It’s good to get your application in right at the end of the season prior. If you don’t require a work visa or can supply your own there are often some last minute positions to be filled in the fall and most resorts will hold job fairs or hiring clinics just before the season.
