Chile Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Santiago

Bienvenidos a Santiago, Chile! You will be picked up at the airport and transferred to our hotel in Santiago. Chile’s largest city, Santiago is the vibrant capital boasting internationally recognized vineyards, beautiful beaches, and Andean ski resorts very close by.

This afternoon we explore a bit of Santiago, including its most important historical sites such as the downtown area surrounding the Plaza de Armas and the La Moneda Presidential Palace. We stroll through Mercado Central, one of Chile’s largest fresh seafood markets, and pass by the many bustling stalls to appreciate the tremendous variety available from Chile’s bountiful sea. We continue to some of the city’s lesser known barrios including República, Lastarria and Concha y Toro. For a panoramic vista of Santiago, we visit the top of Cerro San Cristobal, 200 metres above the city.

Tonight we experience a bit of Santiago’s famous nightlife!
