Vancouver Island MapVancouver Island, on the West coast of Canada is a unique destination filled with majestic mountains rising more than 2000m out of the Pacific Ocean and covered with lush temperate rain forests hosting some of the biggest trees on the planet. Perched a mile above the towns of the Comox Valley, Mount Washington Alpine Resort sandwiches itself between the waters of the Georgia Straight and the mountains of Strathcona Provincial Park.  The resort is home to 1600+ acres of terrain suited ideally for our ski and snowboard training courses. You won’t find any five star luxury hotels or fur coat clad tourists here… Instead there are untracked runs, lineless lifts, friendly locals and huge annual snowfalls…

A true Canadian coastal mountain experience!

Mt. Albert Edward from Mt Washington

Mount Washington attracts regular storms rolling in off the Pacific Ocean and is frequently home to the deepest snow-pack in North America.

The Comox Valley is known as Alpine to Ocean country. This is one of the few places you can ski or ride in the mountains all day and then watch the sunset from the beach in the evening!
