Accommodation
We provide accommodation for our ski and snowboard leadership training courses in the quaint village at Mount Washington Alpine Resort.. You will share clean comfortable chalets with other people on your course. This amazing location allows you to literally strap on your skis or snowboard right at your your front door. The Chalets are outfitted with all the comforts of home including large kitchens, laundry facilities, televisions and Wi-Fi internet access.
Sleeping arrangements arrangements in a standard room consist of three to four people, however, for those looking for a bit more privacy we also offer a twin rooms, private rooms and custom housing options.
Food
After a long days training it’s difficult to get up the motivation to cook yourself a proper meal. For this reason Section 8 provides half board consisting of evening meals five days per week. Meals will be nutritious, delicious and we are happy to accommodate most special dietary needs.
Participants are responsible for all other meals. For lunches, there are a variety of meal options at the resort or you may prepare your own. You will have full access to the kitchen in your accommodations and there is a small grocery store in the village. There are also plenty of cafes and restaurants to explore in the Comox Valley on free days.
Transportation
Once you have arrived to the Comox Valley, we will pick you up at the local airport or ferry terminal as well as provide all other transportation for course scheduled activities. A shuttle bus is available for those who wish to go into town on their free time. We also arrange many extra curricular trips and activities for which we will provide transportation.
