Ski Leadership Training
Are you interested in becoming a ski professional? This instructor training course is the full meal deal… master all terrain in all conditions. Earn 7 industry recognized certifications to begin your ski career while you challenge yourself in a wide variety of ski disciplines. For 3 months our highly qualified CSIA examiners, specialty coaches and mountain guides will put you to the test in the legendary coastal Canadian powder, trees, moguls and steeps. They will refine your performance carving on the pristine groomers, in the race course and ski cross course. You will get to play in the terrain park as well as practice the fundamentals with technical teaching demonstrations. To ensure you have the skills to tackle the whole mountain, this course also prepares you with a solid foundation of backcountry skiing skills including advanced avalanche safety training, winter survival and wilderness first aid. Throughout the course we focus on developing strong leadership skills enabling you to share your passion with others. In the end you will be qualified to teach skiing up to an advanced intermediate level.
Snowboard Leadership Training
More than your average snowboard instructor course… the Snowboard Leadership Training program is designed to transform you into an inspirational teacher and the ultimate all mountain rider. You will prepare for 7 industry recognized certifications with extensive technical training from our top notch CASI Examiners, specialty coaches and mountain guides. They will ensure you are challenged in as many aspects of the sport as possible from the powder to the park and the carving board to the backcountry. This course qualifies you to teach up to an advanced intermediate level.
Basic Training Ski Course
Basic Training is an introductory ski instructor training course with some backcountry fundamentals and basic avalanche skills thrown in for good measure. Great for those looking to improve their all round skiing while gaining qualifications to teach novice adult skiers and children up to an intermediate parallel level. A great opportunity for personalized training from highly qualified CSIA course conductors.
Basic Training Snowboard Course
The Basic Training snowboard instructor course is a great way to improve your fundamental riding skills in a variety of terrain and conditions while qualifying you to teach snowboarding at an introductory level. This course also includes an introduction to backcountry travel avalanche safety and winter survival skills. Training is from highly qualified CASI course conductors.
