12 Week “Snowsport Leadership Training” program

Comprehensive ski or snowboard instructor training, and mountain leadership course

Bonus 13th Week – Surf Trip: add $375 + HST

Note* The SLT course is considered vocational training and prices are no longer subject to GST or HST taxes.

Certification membership and exams included in the course fees:

Ski: CSIA level 1 & CSIA level 2 exams and membership, Avalanche Safety Training level 1 & level 2 certification, a 50hr Wilderness First-Aid certification, CPR level C and CSIA Snow Park Trained qualification.

Snowboard: CASI level 1 exams and membership, CASI Park Instructor level 1certification, Avalanche Safety Training level 1 & level 2 certification, a 50hr wilderness first aid certification, CPR level C, as well as your choice of either the regular CASI level 2 or CASI Park Instructor level 2

12 Week SLT fees also includes: 12 Weeks of shared on mountain ski in ski out accommodation, transportation within the program, evening meals Monday – Friday & all meals on overnight backcountry trips, full seasons pass (including night skiing/riding and X-Country) at Mt. Washington Alpine Resort, coaching, guiding and training fees in a variety of ski or snowboard disciplines, GS race module, terrain park module, video analysis, dry-land training and evening workshops, backcountry equipment rentals, safety equipment and group gear rentals, course materials, optional work practicum, some extra-curricular activities and social events, Program DVD, certificate of completion, and written evaluation. (Bonus surf week includes: an extra week of accommodation in Ucluelet, 5 day board and wetsuit rentals and 1day of surfing lessons.)
